Project Description

Located on a beautiful wooded 5.75 acre lot near the City of Katy, Texas, in Fort Bend County, the project includes all aspects of a new Muti-purpose development. The project incudes three new pre-engineered metal buildings; a Orthodontist Clinic for client’s practice, a Barn to raise Alpacas and a Home for rest and entertaining. The client engaged DPA to not design the standard metal building architecture we’re all familiar with. They were looking for a “modern” aesthetic” that could fit their budget. This is one of those projects that we say, “good clients make good architecture.” Furthermore, the client was receptive to not clear cutting the trees but, rather letting the buildings and infrastructure conform naturally within the tree and the natural setting; The result is an organic plan of paths that lead throughout the property.
